A recent study carried out by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has stated that there are now 2.534 million contract and temp workers in the U.S. This figure is a fraction lower than the peak of 2006 and therefore represents a positive trend that the economy is on the up and employers are starting to invest in adding volume to their existing workforce again.
