3 Interview Questions that Reveal Everything

Recruiters interview hundreds (even thousands) of people, and we generally have a good sense of which questions will give us the information we need to make a decision. But what if all we need is 3 simple questions that will tell us everything we need to know? If we kept our interviews to just 3 questions we could probably save ourselves a lot of time, but is that really enough? 


According to John Younger, the CEO of Accolo (a cloud recruiting solutions provider), there are 3 questions that will get you to the core of what you need to know: 

  1. How did you find out about the job?
  2. What did you like about the job before you started?
  3. Why did you leave?
"What's amazing," Younger says, "is that after a few minutes, you will always have learned something about the candidate--whether positive or negative--that you would never have learned otherwise."

    Ya, these are very important, but creates the most typical situation at that time, because before interview, everyone has started practicing the difficult question & not gives much importance to these basic questions which are actually very useful in terms of interview.
