Social media - employee distraction or the way forward for businesses?

An interesting question, and one that inspired Google to commission Millward Brown, a marketing and research group based in London to examine how social media is used in business today.  After interviewing some 2,700 professionals, Millward Brown found that social media tools are being used to attract and retain talent; aid collaboration and encourage business expansion. You can read more about their findings in by Bill Leonard's artilce on SHRM website.
