There is a moment in the office when all time stops and you are frantic, thinking of how to answer the boss’ question without sounding unprofessional. Your boss will not take “I don’t know” for an answer.
What do you say or do?
Do you use your pause button on that mystical universal remote and Google it? No…one could only wish. Whatever you do, do not say “I don’t know”. No job position warrants the use of the phrase. It is okay that you do not know everything. Show your boss that you are ambitious and care about your job by continuously learning. Step up and do the research, but first find a better response for your boss.
