On July 20th 2014, hundreds of aquatic centers, pools and waterparks across the world will simultaneously host World's Largest Swimming Lesson (WLSL) events in an attempt to set a fifth Guinness World Record while building awareness and generating attention about the vital importance of teaching kids to swim to help prevent drowning. Guinness World Record aside, the main goal is to raise awareness aobut water safety and the importance of learning how to swim, something which is particularly important in our environment.
