Cayman Island comes out on Top

The Cayman Islands came out on top at the 2012 Captive Live conference where they were named "Offshore Domicile of the Year".    This important industry conference, hosted by Captive Review magazine saw more that 400 captive management professional from across the United States gather in Chicago.

The Cayman Islands won out against  tough competition from other jurisdications including Anguilla, Bermuda and Nevis who were all judged by an independent panel of risk managers.  Nicholas Leighton of Atlas Insurance Management accepted the award on behalf of the jurisdiction and the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman. s"To receive public recognition of this calibre is a real feather in Cayman's cap and underscores the ongoing work by members of our industry to ensure that Cayman continues to be a desirable domicile for the world's captives." said Mr Leighton.
