Mirror mirror on the wall, whose telling the truth after all?

Have you ever lied on your resume? If you have you are part of the fairly staggering ONE IN FIVE statistic polled in a recent survey. The Telegraph surveyed 250,000 people and 20% of that figure confessed that not everything they put down on their resume is strictly the truth.
No matter how much you think it is harmless to “enhance” your qualifications or previous duties, the truth will out. So instead of sitting in an interview being quizzed about a role you have never done; or being asked to provide degree certificates for a subject you never completed; be honest.
Your resume needs to be a mirror image of the work you have done and the skills you possess. I guarantee it’s going to help you in the long term.
