This island is small - but still big enough for a ‘road trip’

Grand Cayman is relatively small - just over 100 square miles (or 265 square kilometers) - and the speed limit never exceeds 50 miles per hour, but that doesn’t have to stop you from taking a road trip.

If you haven't driven ALL the way around the island, you are missing out.  A leisurely drive ‘out East’ is the perfect way to spend a day.

First stop: Bodden Town.

The coastal road offers gorgeous sea views at almost every turn.  About 15 minutes from George Town you will arrive in historic Bodden Town.  To experience the barefoot beach atmosphere, stop at Grapetree Fish Fry for some fresh snapper or Southcoast Grill for great food and breathtaking views.

Shortly after Bodden Town, the Blow Holes and Lover’s Wall will come up on your right.  The waves on the south side of the island are often strong, so it is likely the natural blowholes will be active.  Make sure you have your camera ready and if you time it just right you are bound to get some great pictures.
